Favorite Thanksgiving Picture Books

The pile isn't nearly as impressive as our Christmas pile will be, but we are enjoying reading them over and over anyway.  More suggestions welcome, I'd like to add to our collection:)

We have...

Sarah Morton's Day

Samuel Eaton's Day-these are both lovely photographic stories of a day in the life of a pilgrim boy and girl

Berenstain Bears and the Prize Pumpkin

Berenstain Bear's Thanksgiving- This is an oldie I found at a book sale

The Magic School Bus at the First Thanksgiving

The Pilgrim's First Thanksgiving

If You Were There At the First Thanksgiving-Great for older kids, tons of info here

Cranberry Thanksgiving -My personal fave. The recipe for cranberry bread is awesome and we make it every year!

  1. We've never read Cranberry Thanksgiving, so I finally put it on hold at the library. I love cranberry bread, and Cassia loves picture books that also involve cooking, so I think we'll enjoy this!
